im getting a used ohlins steering damper from my friends crashed R1. hes selling it to me for cheap. considering everything is mounted on the bike. all the mounting brackets are secured and bolted down. i noticed that the joint right in the middle of the damper itself has play when its mounted on the bike. its moves up and down and half cicular motion. is that suppose to not move at all. the joint at the end of the damper has a small play in it but i think thats normal. anyways, just wondering if the damper is still good. and how much does it cost for a rebuild.

oh ya i noticed in the middle joint that half of the black washer has been torn off. thanks
