Default Tein SS or HA for track days

Hi!
I wanted to get a set of Tein SS to fit on my Accord.
I often use my Accord on track days, would the SS be ok?

If not the Tein's, what other coilover suspension would you suggest?
I don't realy mind if they are too stiff or not.

Tein SS are nice, but are more designed for daily driving than track use. a good and somewhat inexpensive track/daily driver setup would be ground control w/ koni yellows. this would cost about the same as Tein SS.

When I had my accord I had the SS on them. They ruled the day. Never took the car to a track, but I would often go to the Miller Stadium parking lot at night to test and tune the suspension.
Unfortently the only comparison I can make for you to other suspensions is the tein S Techs, which I had befor the SS, and those I didnt like, not stiff enough.
On other cars though, Ive ridden on Tein flex(4 door GSR), Jic's in a VR4, and eibachs in various applications. I liked them all.
to bad your in Italy, I still have the Tein SS sitting in a box in my room and I was going to offer to sell them to you for a good deal.

wauwatosa is ghey

oh do u know the spring rates of the tein SS and how good are the shocks??? most people that autox or road race, have 400+ lb/in of spring rates which would be very stiff compared to a street setup.

wauwatosa is ghey but its better than the stupid country town Im in for the next two weeks (Platteville WI). Spring rates, tein web page says..... (for 90-97 accord)

{Front & Rear kgf/mm,lbs/in }

front: 6/336
Rear: 5/280

You can get stiffer springs, but there racing spring page is still under construction, so here is teins website for you to enjoy from here...http://www.tein.com/products.html

yea those spring rates are equivalent to aftermarket springs like eibach prokits, h&r sport, neuspeed sports. if u're autox'n or anything like that, u're gonna want stiffer. does anyone know how the shocks of the tein ss is compared to koni yellows???

Thanks for your answers.
So you think SS are a bit too soft for track use!
I now fit Blistein shoks with Vogland splrings, the set up is quite stiff but there is still too much body roll.

I have also found Tein HA for my Accord, this should be better?

Looking at the tein web page, I dont see the Type HA, http://www.tein.co.jp/hadamp2h.html you would want the CB5/7? no CB chasis codes... though I dont know what it is for sure.
tein us dosnt have it either
http://www.tein.com/hadamp.html
call them to find out forsure.
I know TEIN makes alot of America Specific Products.. such as there type basic.. t hose were made for the purpose of getting a cheap and quality coilover combo that was reachable to the average US consumer.

The CB Accord is the earlier modell than mine (90-93).
My Accord is a CC, but has the same chasis as the CD and CE (and it should also be the same as the CB.
However, in the Jp site I see there is the HA kit for CE Accords.

I see those too... But they are labeled with different models such as VTL,Vi,ViX?
Would these actually fit CB7s? If they do... time to swap out my SS for those HA's
