Mine doesn't work either..hmm
i personally like the 94+ because of the revised interior and the EL gauge cluster and the 92-93 rims were UGLY

Mines a BB1 with H22a. I know the interior was changed in the BB4s
The mirror control was relocated to the centre console that had also been revised, the cloth seats had a subtle pattern on them on the BB4 onwards. The handbrake was moved (e-brake).
I have a 1992 JDM H22a BB1 Prelude, I also know you can difinitivly identify a BB1 or BB4 prelude by looking at the nostril vents, The BB1's had a single fin in the vent and the BB4's have a double fins that is sunk into the vent giving a more aggressive look.
That is true for the UK and the JDM ones, not sure about the US models.

Here is the answer you guys are looking for.
In Japan they use different chassis codes for their vtec models.
bb4 is actually similar to the bb1 here(North America), but the bb1 we have here has the sunroof.
So bb4 in japan = vtec prelude
bb1 in japan = vtec prelude with 4ws and electric sunroof
bb1 here = vtec prelude with sunroof
As for my source, here is the link.
