Running a sanction based in The more central states of the US? What I mean is like Running north and south from MN to TX and east to west like IN to CO???

You guys think something like that would work with all the big budget sanctions going on right now?

I think those of us in the Midwest need to inform others of just the little BS local events going on. We have one here in Kansas City, 4 in a small *** track near backwoods Joplin, MO, and 1 or 2 in Wichita, KS. Those along with the one or two in IL and St. L that are NHRA, BOTI, and NDRA. I would hope there are some small ones in OK, IL, WI, MN, NE, etc.

That'll be tough. Getting the big boys to come would be the most difficult part, since they are already scheduled with the bigger sanctions. You would definitely get a good turnout, since us MidWest guys don't want to travel to either coasts to compete.

But if you want to start one, I'm down for it!

 

I think there is room for a winter series in the south

You would not get a pro showing due to build time, but you could create a good pro-am circuit with the right promotion

 

We could call it MIRA.

 

I'm not talking about Big Corporate sponsored cars...although that would be nice to see

I'm refering to teh guys like us who have regular budgets(LOW) and wanna get the experience of racing for points and some money.
