just wondering if the vss from my auto tranny is usable on a 5spd tranny. tranny is for a 92-95 ex/si tranny if it matters. also do i need to crack open the tranny to install it?

 

im not too sure about the compatibility, but i do know you do not have o take apart the tranny. just unscrew it and it will pop out

 

I am not 100% sure if it will work my initial thought is yes.

No you don't need to pull the case off to install it just unplug it and take out the 10mm bolts pull out put new one in and put the 10mm bolts back on and plug it up and your good!

 

thanks guys, knowing i dont have to reopen the case makes me happy. just need to know the compatability now. i was thinking it would be the same.. but ..bump for some tranny experts.
