Default Damn school

I just got my type R no less than a month ago. I park it at school everyday and I just noticed today that I have a door ding on my left side by the fender. Now this pisses me off. I'm sure when u guys get a new car you want to keep it in as perfect condition as possible. Its not that big just minor. Any ideas on how to fix it? It made a mark in the paint not too big, about the size of an ant or so. Although when you look at the car from a certain angle, you can totally see that the fender is bent. I heard that you can like suck it out but I'm not that great with fixing minor things like this.

I took my car to Dent Wizard a couple of years ago to get rid of all the dings. I have since accumulated more dings and I'll be going there again. Learn more about paintless dent removal and find a location near you here:

http://dentwiz.com/

As for the paint chip, you might want to try some touchup paint and this:

http://www.langka.com/index2.htm

I've never tried it, but it looks good based on what I read. I read favorable reviews about Langka a while back on some VW site.

Door dings suck, but as long as you park you car in a parking lot frequently, you will get door dings. I'm super paranoid when I park my car and very selective as far as what kind of car I park next to and I still get about a ding a year.

It's $100 per panel. If you have 3 dings on one panel, it's still $100 but if you have 3 dings on 3 different panels, it's $300. But since I had 5 panels to be fixed, they gave me a discount so I paid $400 something. That's what I remember from 3 years ago. If I remember correctly, I think they finished the job in about 2 hours.

If you compare this to the price you would pay a body shop for dent repair and repaint, it's not expensive at all. In fact, it's better. Paintless dent removal restores the panel to the original condition, unlike body shops who use fillings.
