does a dizzy make like a tapping/clicking sound if its going bad. i have a horriable tapping/clicking sound comeing from somwhere, can't tel yet, but i had a valve adj, and i know its not like piston slap or anything, im just tyring to pin poin tit. the sound comes from the back right but then i hear it around cyc 4. anyeone know?

 

You'll have to try and see what part of the engine bay the noise is coming from. Other than that, it's hard to diagnose the problem w/o being in front of the motor.

 

Could be the bearing in the base of the dizzy - same thing happened to mine.
