How long is too long to be on Jackstands.
For winter storage, any downsides to putting the R on jackstands for a month or 2.
Or just plop on some sh*tty tires and park it?

you shouldn't have any problems... most people when they're putting together a hot rod will leave the frame on jackstands the entire time. just make sure it's on a secure part that won't crunch in over time
Don't get anything over 2.5 ton jackstand. If you get 3 ton jackstand, it'll most likely crush your side-skirt and etc. Make sure that the jackstand fits under the supporting points.
So, it's ok to put on stands that are directly on our 4 jacking points, and no where else? Just want to make sure I don't hurt her.
If you really want to get serious, get the bolt on rollers body shops use to support cars on in their shops... these are individual pieces that bolt to the wheel lugs ( wheels off of course ) and have rollers on them so you can push the car around.
This leaves the weight of the car where it should be, and gives you a good opportunity to clean your wheels for the next season..
Totally cool...
