Went to the track and with some wheelspin I end up finishing the 1/4 almost at redline in 4th gear....After reading some other threads it looks like people can finish in third.

I was trapping 108.5mph on average (in Fourth)

I just recently bought the car (turbo LS integra) and the previosu owner says the tranny was never changed. Anyone have any input.

 

the people saying that they redine are probably going to like 7500 and thats probably with slicks too. You could have a tire thats not as tall. In my ls hatch I know that the top of fourth gear is somewhere around that mph with 195/14 tires.

 

I'm running 205/45/16s

 

Go on the highway. Do 80mph in 5th gear.

4000 rpm = GSR transmission
4400 rpm = Type-R transmission
4400 rpm = B16 transmission
3XXX rpm = LS transmission
