I am building a b18b1 for my 94 honda civic coupe. I am starting with my buddys completely dissasembled b18. Its all in boxes and I have everything but the dist, alt, and intake manifold. So starting with the bottom up. I need rings, bearings (rod and main), oil pan gasket, ummm? Anything else? Im having the crank balanced. Probably shot peen the rods? UMMM. O!! arp rod bolts. And I have been told that head gaskets are available to raise compression. Where? I may use this while the engine is still n/a to help out power. Then swap it for the turbo setup. Where can I find these simple parts and whats the best to use. Any experience or tips?! thanxs guys. Hope to be done by july
