type r head???

i'm might buy a type r head from some guy...just wanted to know is there a vin number or something so i can check if the head is legit...and also pr3 is a type r head rite? thanks

pr3 don't mean jack, gotta check the valvesprings for paint, or check camshafts... etc.. etc...
