Default PIAA FOG LIGHT

recently got a set of piaa fog light from my friend. i already have a set of piaa fog light on my 98 civic si. both of the fog lights are same series, which is piaa 1200 series. the only difference is that the one i have on my car is amber light, another one's clear light. here comes the QUESTION: is it possible to just replace fog light WITHOUT change relay, wires. etc. would that affect my car if i just replace fog light?
btw, they have different relays, other than that, it's all the same.

can someone help me??

thanks!!

If they're the same series lights couldn't you just swap the bulbs? That really is a question, as I don't do a lot with fogs.

I really don't follow you at all. You're saying that the glass on the fogs is amber/yellow? If that's so why can't you disconnect the wiring where it comes out of the fogs and connects to whatever you hooked it to and just swap out the new fogs.

The 1200 series (like many of the PIAA lamps) has a dichroic lens/reflector/bulb unit that is completely interchangeable with lamps of the same series. You'd have no problem removing it from one 1200 lamp and installing it in another. In other words, there is no reason to remove your existing lamps and replace them with the new ones. Just take the clear dichroic units from the new lamps and install them in the lamps on your car.

Edit: Basically, exactly what Sean said.
