Changing cap & rotor - rotor wont budge: HELP
The retaining screw is cake but the rotor seems like its stuck in there. I tried sticking a flathead screwdriver using leverage to pry it off but it wont budge.

I usually end up breaking the rotor and the shield piece below it getting it out. It's pretty frustrating for me too. I just broke the second one over the weekend.

then put some high heat grease on the shaft. so the next time it will come off easier... and make sure you use the blue lock tight to keep it there not the red one... just a small tab...
the locktite keeps you from having to tighten that screw too much... just tighten it till it stops and let the blue loctite do its job of holding it there.
atleast thats what ive done everything....

I had to fix my car in a Holiday Inn parking lot in the dark before a 615 mile trip home the next day, had same problem.
On the large channel locks, I endhad to destroy the rotor, and the black cover behind it just to get room to get the rotor off. Ended up getting it down to it's metal shank that the screw resides upon when on the shaft. I used a flat blade screwdriver and a pair of visegrips set loosly and worked it back and forth.

I just replaced all the crap MSD I bought a few months back. The same happened to me. I went to Sears and bought the, "Stripped Screw Remover" bits.
I bought the kit that had a bit for a #6 screw. It worked great. Good $20 investment IMO. I removed the dizzy then slowly began drillimg out the rotor screw with the smallest bit (for #6 screw) once I had dug out a descent amount of the screw head I finally got it out with the next size up bit.
