Default timing issue

i have a 1994 honda accord with 90000 miles on it and i decided to change the timing belt...well my luck now the motor makes a noise and rides rough...you know it kind of makes my teeth itch.
so i guess it is out of time i have ran it 100 miles does anybody think i hurt the motor.
i also need some pointers on how to get it back in time..i think it is the balance shaft belt...i have a haynes service manual but it does not show enough pics for me to understand for sure if i have it right.....and my god what a tight bolt on the bottom pulley.
if anyone can help i will thank them in advance
