11Sec TurboR in Philly?
My buddy came back from the races last night with a sore *** from the beating a harmless-looking CW Turbo R handed him. He later found out that the guy was at the track a few days ago running consistent 11.2s. I think he tried to talk to him, but he didnt seem like the friendliest...
Regardless of anyones thoughts on streetracing...I posted this to see if youre on the board? Or if anyone knows him or his setup? Im going to take a trip out there soon to see what he's all about. I havent heard of too many FAST turbo R's runnin around, so if one is in Philly, Id like to check it out.
Supposedly it was a harmless, relatively stock looking CW ITR. Ive got no other info...anyone know the guy?

NO I believe it was a wingless R. It had chrome Racing Hart C2's on it. He was running 11.55's at the time. It may /may not be the same guy. If I had the money I would've bought it and ditched my car.
2 differnent cars. the one is VA was an CW ITR and ran 11.9....The one in philly runs 11.2....I know the guy in philly goes by 1FSTITR on http://www.pastreetracing.org he is usually on the philly forum or import forum on that page
Ahhh very cool, thanks guys. Maybe Ill run into him.
BTW that same night, the cops blocked off all the exits and stormed the races...cars towed, everyone got tickets, etc. Racing was never even an option IMO, its just too risky to even go and watch now!

This is a turbo fully built bulletproof Type R that would give him a run for his money. He would need to come up to Montreal first. This guy (buddy of mine) was having some problems at the begining of the summer and ran mid 13s on 18s. Since then the motor was redone and he should be able to pull a low 12 with the proper drag setup.
"should run" is no good... he did not run low 12s... end of the story...
I could put a turbo... build the motor... shot a 150 of nitrous and run 9s.... yeah I could...

a low 12 to a low 11. hmmmm. the guy running the low 11 would be at least 10 car lengths ahead. IF you call that giving him a run for the money, whatever Migs.
I think some people need to take it easy. I'm not a trash talker, I just used the expression "run for his money" because they have a similar set up. Who cares what he has ran already. it would be an interesting race.
Geez.
to be the fastest R in the world, your gonna need to be a lot faster then that. Some guys in Japan are running full fiberglass conversions with practially a tube frame setup with around 700hp. As for their times, you can only guess because they keep their times hidden till the BIG races held in Japan.
