Default help look out for a ctr motor (norcal area)

my car was stolen on firday night and was found on saturday. the motor, rims, and stereo is gone. i dont really care about the rims and stereo all i care about is the motor. if anybody know somebody is selling a ctr motor around the sac area please let me know, it might not be mines but i will want to take a look at it. im not sure which part of sac its in but my car is at a west sac tow yard. vin # on the motor is 1003394 (B16B)

ill keep an eye out, but FYI that number is not the VIN, its the block number.

JDM cars/engines = no vins.

The cars have "vins" just not us numbers, so they are pretty usless.

I think your right about the engines though, no significant numbers
that could be used for identification purposes.

the VIN is a US based system. they do have ID plates with numbers but not a VIN.

the block number IS a significant number as no other honda engine will have that same number, but im just correcting him thats not a VIN.

I was at Motorsport Dynamics on Saturday, shooting the **** with Justin and Nate over there, and I saw an ad posted on their little board that was selling a CTR motor. I don't know when it was put up, but you might want to drive over there and get the guy's info and see if he's selling your motor. Good luck with everything.

def. would check it out. not too many people have b16b's Could possibly be yours, it is worth a shot. keep us posted, I hope you get your motor back and catch the little bastards!
