Default 93 accord 2.2 to a 97accord VTEch ??

I recently did a motor swap 93 2.2 to a 97 accord 2.2 vtech.. For some reasons I am fowling out spark plugs.. My car isn't wired for a mass air flow sensor.. Could this be my prob. or somethin else.. Please help if you can..

Are you sure it didnt come with Ztec...

yeah, put a mass air flow sensor in there, one from a 2.3 ford turbo motor......then use that downpipe and you'll be fine

btw, its vtec..not vtech. I hate when people spell it with an H.

Right off the bat, you answered your own problem. It is a 90% possibility the absence of a MAF is your problem. They are cheap. Install it, and if the problem continues, you may have a problem with your dsitributor.

I replaced the distributor,rotor cap and button.. O2 sensors and lots of other stuff... I really appreciate your time.. I live in a small town with a bunch of idiots... Thanks.. I will try that.. On the downpipe thing.. Do I have to use one with adownpipe?.. I tried to get a mass air flow sensor for that car.. They didn't have one... But I will tr yoursuggestion... Thx again.

What is Ztec? The valve cover says Vtec.. Dont know...

Where exactly does the downpipe need to go.. Any other MAFS that will work that you know?
