Has anyone ever seen all red recaro seat's with the big recaro logo on the headrest in white? I've seen them with black lettering, anyone seen real ones before with white? Sorry if this is in the wrong forum

 

i dunno could be red SRD's i dunno what color the stiching is on those

 

The red SRs from the Type R have the writing in black, but there are some Japanese Recaros that have hte writing in white like these...

yes it is a legit question. its also a legit question that got answered. now its just becoming into a picture thread, which was my reason for reporting. dont get me wrong, i like pictures too, but rules are rules. everybody was kiss assing a couple days ago, saying to help tom and the other mods. thats what i'm doing. dont worry anyway, the thread will stay up a little longer.

 

Ummm...the question was not solved. I just posted pictures of the seats that I am supposed to buy, and I'm still wondering if they are real or not. so basically youre just going to make me start another thread if this gets closed. thanks for not helping

They're real. I can spot a real Recaro from a fake any day.

Those are USDM SRDs.

 

from what i've researched (google, official sites, H-T, etc...), i couldn't find any seat that recaro made like these. any proof of your answer?

Keep researching, because you apparently haven't done enough.

Those are USDM SRDs.

Keep in mind that USDM SRDs have slight differences from the JDM SR3s (CTR/ITR seats) - mainly in the shape of the shoulder bolsters.

Edit: I also forgot to mention that the DC5 ITR seats are SR4s, which is why they look a little different from the SR3 and SRD. The biggest differences are in the headrest shape and the shoulder belt guide. They also have the more pointed shoulder bolsters like the USDM SRD, not the more rounded ones like the JDM SR3.

 

I've seen red recaros with the white lettering for sale on many occasions. I've seen them on ebay a lot too. Those look real
