Why people selling off their turbo's?

can anybody give some reason for why do people sell off the turbo when turbo is such a great upgrade to a car. Any reason will do besides for the reason because they need money for something.

Maybe they want to restore their car back to stock. Maybe they want to sell it. Maybe they are upgrading. So many reasons.

because boost addiction + not knowing everything thats going on = blown motor.
