Default Photoshop Request. . . . kinda strange but needed.

I was wondering if someone could photoshop a pic of my R with an Evo 8 hood vent on the hood?

Im looking to lower my under hood temps. and saw Christians evo7 ones and they looked decent. But since we dont get 7's over here, i would have to get an 8 scoop.. I need to get an idea of what it will look like though. .

if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Not a great chop but you get the idea.

A little farther up the hood. More shading and stuff.

No problem. I think it would actually look better in person (or real life). I have problems with cutting out things and making the edges rough but I think the second one isn't that bad.

is there a way to see how it looks a little closer to the front of the car? i know i ask for a lot. hehehehe .

I have mixed feelings about it , but i might be able to pull it off. my biggest concern is function. i need to get the heat down big time under my hood. but i want it to look decent too

can't you just raise the rear part of your hood?
also i think there are some fiber and c/f hood that has something like that on it already. look around.

i like to see that just for the hell of it. also put 3 in a row on his hood.

i have seen a hood with just the middle part, it looked like the mugen scoop, also if you shop around you could get a aftermarket evo7 vents.

EDIT: I spoke to soon on the top of the car. There isn't enough room. Well unless someone better wants to take a stap at it.

I dont really like any of those vents. but if anything, the one closer to the front bumper is ok for that EVO vent. I was thinking about just cutting some vents up by the wipers on my hood so the hot hair has a place to exit in the rear.

This one isn't that bad - I like the evo 7 style better though...

i kinda do too, but finding the Evo7 one is hard. i can get the Evo8 one for $68. and it comes with the under tray thats slotted to blocvk the rain and ****.

I think in person it wouldnt look bad. remember its only a straight black mesh. the pics dont really do it justice i dont think , but it gives a decent idea

Hey Pete, did you ever think about doing those bumper vents like on Christians?

I thought those looked nice, I guess they are more for rad cooling then keeping under hood temps down though.

I can't find that dam pic...

i dont think i ever saw them . the problem is that my damn manifold gets soooo damn hot. that everything else in the bay gets super hott and untouchable. including charge pipes and intake manifold. i know there are other things to do , but i dont wanna rip **** apart and spend hundreds of dollars to get things coated and such and still have a problem. i rather do the cheap easy DYI stuff 1st

I agree with you. And I think it would look better if the hood didn't raise up like on the EVO 8...if it was just the vent. It would be kinda risky, but as long as it served its purpose go for it.

Actually, now that I think of it you should just run around with your hood off...that would cool things off.
