I have not autox-ed before, but would like to start this summer before i break my car doing somethg crazy. Are there any events out there for beginners in illinois this summer? I know the the local M3 car club has their own autox events.

Are there any local Honda/Integra or Import car clubs that have events? The thing that kind of deters me from alot of these so-called Import Car Club is that they are usually a bunch of kids who are more interested in stickers, Fake HIDs, street racing or 'looking bad' more than driving. Oh well, maybe its just me growing old..

oh, and they have a school every year as their first even, the learning curve. I went a few years ago, it was helpful a little, but i got plenty of runs.

 

Thanks for the info. Are you from the chicago area? I dun see alot or type-Rs, or even GS-Rs anymore. In fact, i see more CL-s or TLs around these days.

I was gonna attend the Evo Phase 1/II, but they cancelled the Chicago May sessions becasue they could not find an affordable venue.
