"Maintenance required" checked off with an orange box

Car is a 2k Hatchback DX. What could this mean? It's a little box that has either a red or an orange box in there.

Does anyone know what could be going on? Thanks.

Means ur due for a checkup. If you do ur own maintenance dont worry about it. Use ur key and toggle the black thing next to it to switch the light back to green.
