A buddy of mine wants to buy my R from me for $18,000 but this would include the JDM header, Test Pipe, Greddy Evo Exhaust, Injen Intake, Crower 64302a Cams, Vafc, 2 set's of rims, and I would be throwing in a Zex kit. Does it sound like I am getting the raw end of the deal here? By the way the car has 55,000 miles and is a 98!!
I would also be giving him all of the stock stuff except for the cams.

I would sell it only if i needed to, or wanted to. But if you're not sure if you want to get rid of it, then don't, because most likely, you're going to regret it. 18 is a very good price, and remember, once you modify your car, it will devaule it.

 

That is why I am thinking about getting out of it. Now that I have all of the upgrades it is almost not fun to drive. It is very loud and I don't even go into
vtec anymore. I just feel like maybe I have grown out of the speed thing and now I am thinking about buying an s2000 to cruise around in or maybe a 2002 v6 maxima! I don't know I was just interested in seeing if I was giving him a good deal and wasn't giving away too much...

That's a kick *** deal that you're giving your friend. That car is worth a lot more than what you're asking. If you're not into the speed anymore why get an s2000...you know when you get that you will eventually modify it. Did you know that the S2000 is just a little faster than the R's

 

If you're complaining that it's too loud, then why don't you make it stock again. They say that ITR's run best when they are stock. Also, if there was a choice between a Maxima, and a S2K, I would choose the Maxima. Luxuary over sport.

 

I hate people who ask these types of questions...if u have doubts sell it!!!!!!!!!!...let someone who can really appreciate the R have it. If u have to ask then you've answered ur own question

What the hell is your problem. you are really starting to **** me off just because the type-r is hondas off the rack race and you don't think so screw you all you do is post **** about how type-r owners are dicks and so on then why do you post here.you could not be more wrong about the type-r owners these are some of the nicest guys i have ever meet in my whole life. we all know the type-r is not the best car but for the money it sure is in the top 10 out of all the cars. i don't even get why you try to start crap over here but **** maybe you should just go to a different forum if you don't us owners because were always going to be here.

ps it is kinda funny because i am selling my type-r to get a supra but you think we all think we have the best cars (for the money maybe we do) but i think you need to get your head out of your *** and relize this is a type-r forum and for the money i would not suggest any other car
