Default Compression Test Results: ...i'm gonna guess this is bad.

D16z6 bought off of someone--

165 170 160 165...

Put a little oil in three of the pistons... all three shot up to 180 190 180.

My car starts... get on the gas it studders and bogs, then dies.

Is this the reason my freaking car won't drive out of the driveway?

when's the last time it ran... what have you done to it since...

Those numbers aren't horrible... if you did it after the engine had sat a long time it may have not made good compression without oil on the cyl. walls...

I'd do a leak down test to be sure that oil isn't getting by the rings... but those numbers aren't bad if it was dry... they're not great though.

From what you described I'm gunna guess you put the wires on in the wrong firing order...

But that going on no other info than you did a compression test then the car doesn't run right.

I agree with Emerika. As long as they're all withtin 10% or so of each other things are looking good.

I dont think im going to waste my money rebuilding anything.

But this sucks. I can't figure out why my car won't drive right.

Any CELs?

Checked your timing? Done a basic tuneup (fuel filter, air filter, plugs, wires ,etc...)

Those Compression numbers are good it has to be something else a sensor or something. I have 150 across at the moment and car runs ok. Will be replacing it soon dough.
