Default covertion question...

I have a 96 civic hatch cx. I want to take my ugly seats out and put 99-00 si seats on it. But I run throught the trouble in the back ones. Where the latch to close the seats are not were they suppost to... is there any how to or anything I can do to make the si back seats fit and lock up on my hatch?

thanks guys.

Just so you know, the SIs are almost exactly identical to the seats you have. They have some different fabric, Integra headrests and lumbar support.

Didn't even know they made SI seats in that color leather. Support still sucks, but I don't really know how to help you fit them on. You could take off the leather skins and put them on your existing seat frames.

thats why I want to changed them.

but the rear seats dont lock like the oem 96 does.
the si has the closing arc in the middle. and the 96 back seats dont have a hook to close... the have a little hole and the hook is actually on the frame of the car. So, the big question is how to actually do for the si seats to close and lock up.

good Idea but the seats in the back are different from the si. 96 ones are exactly the same size and the si one.. one is bigger than the other. =/

oh well, I though may be someone would know something about it.
