Default project 98 GSR underway.

well, im back in the honda game and i aquired a 98 gsr as a project car. im going all out as this is gonna be my last car i build. its gonna be a gift for my little brothers 16th bday next year.

heres some pics of the car...
engine bay stripped, degreased, and rubbed with scotchbrite.

process of the interior being stripped.

sound deadening material removed.


removed the sound deadening under the front windshield.

whats left to do is:
front windshield, and read 1/4 glasses need to be removed
waiting for jdm front end parts
just installed itr doors

anyway, looks clean with just a shell....I have always wanted to build one (guess I either need money or lots of time but probably both )

buy some Tylenol right now. Because its gonna be a long and hard project with many headaches on the way. But as long as you have fun, that's all that matters.

this is my second full-rebuild of a car. i did a 93 si turbo hatch last year. thanks for all the positive/funny comments.
these are the plans for the car.

body -
100% repaint (not sure what color yet) maybe red again.
4 door handles (no key holes)
jdm frontend conversion
oem optional skirts and rears
spoon mirrors
wheels are gonna be 17in volk gt-u or fikse profil 13 (i like 17's )

motor, i have no idea yet...something with itbs though.

heres some some more pics.
itr rad support and headlights

itr doors installed and lined up.


any paint suggestions? thought bout painting it imola red off the new m3.

believe or not.... it didnt take me long to disasseble it. it wont take me that long to put it back together. getting it running with a motor will take me sometime though.
