Today was an awesome day at etown. Misty in the early mourning but sun came out for eliminations. Papadakis went for a test run after the final for Pro RWD and lighted the 1320 with i think it was like a 6.89@203mph. I have like 150 pics i am putting up soon so check back for some links of mine!!!! Props to everyone at Etown. It was GRRRRRRREAT.

I would say no, only a light hit on the driver side rear corner.

 

does anyone know what caused all these crashes? Poor driving, heavy foot, poor race surface or the rain?

 

i thought it was a passenger quarter panel hit, but he still ran in eliminations, the only problem that he has is that he is in a tube frame and all bars are connected to another. needs great measurement to get new bars welded or straightened, but suspension replacement would be easier.

I think each crash was different... ours was caused by a broken control arm, the car isn't totaled, it just needs some body/chassis/suspension work...

Scheepers sounded like he was either spinning a tire or slipping the clutch and at top end the car just went right, not sure on what it was though...

and Pepe loco i wasn't there to watch...

I was right near the line when Pepe Loco crashed, the car made a move and rather than back off, he got into the car and tried to correct it after it was too late, car spun the opposite way and then flipped. Damage wasn't too bad to the car from what I saw, it landed flat on the roof and just skidded.

Jerry, was going to stop by and say hello this weekend but we where so busy going from round to round with the Celica that I didn't get the chance, maybe in Atco.

 

Thanks guys, so it was equipment failure, and loose nuts behind the steering wheels.
