From what i understand, advancing the intake cam moves the power band towards low end power, and retarding it moves the power band towards top end.
I keep seeing people advancing the intake cam, but few retarding it.
I have lots of trouble getting traction below 3000 RPM at launch (drag radials)
and I have been thinking about retarding the intake cam.
I am going to the dyno next week and I would like opinions on this matter
