ok ok, i know its not a honda, but i figured you guys might be albe to help.
my 19x8.5 volk GT7 wont clear the little stub in between the lugs on the front hubs. there are cutouts in the backside of the wheel to allow it to pass, but the stub still rubs the inside part of the cutout, not letting the wheel go on. oh yeah, its on an 03 G35 coupe.

here is the thing i am talking about, its red on top...


here is the cutout behind the volk wheel, you can see where it is rubbing on the inside part...


here is the stock 18. you can see the cutout opens up all the way and allows the stub to pass...


what the hell should i do!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

 

What is the point of the stub ?

I'd shave the stub off or at least grind it until it does fit the wheel.

 

That looks like a bolt head. Does it unbolt? Is it just to hold the rotor on like the screws on a Honda rotor? I've never seen anything like that so I don't know if there are any problems with removing it.

 

ok, fixed the prob. i found out that it is a little bolt to keep you from putting the rear wheels on the front. it came of in 1 turn. no problem.
