i have a 2 holes and a crack that are cracked bad on my carbon fiber hood. i was thinking of patching the holes up and painting the hood the same color as my car.
im thinking about using bondo-glass. im not too familiar on working with fiberglass or anything...this is just gonna be a lil body repair project. im wondering if i need any other materials to patch up the 2 holes. im thinking maybe i need fiberglass mat. im not too sure. and also, can i do anything to make my hood look like a better fit? there are slight gaps and maybe i can mold the hood to fit better. so if anyone that has worked with fiberglass give me detailed instructions on doing, i would highly appreciate it.

There are many ways you can do fiberglass work. I've never used it to repair Carbon Fiber but i'm assuming it will work just fine. You can go to Wal Mart and go to the auto section and they have a small Kit you can buy. It's like 8 bucks or so. It comes with everything you need and instructions. The key is to sand the service good before applying anything. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I'm not a pro or anything but I do know enough to get a long... Good luck..
