Default weight diff from 5 lug and 4 lug

i searched and found only 1 topic on this without a sure answer.
im wondering how much weight does the 5 lug set up weight compared to a 4x114/GSR set up?
my car being 2450lbs with me in it im starting to think about weight....if its a big diff ill go back to my old 4x114 set up
ALso isnt there a WHP lost with the rotational mass of the hubs being heavier and the bigger disc?.....thanx for the help!

2450lbs
the car is a 94 CX weight in at 2240 without me in it before the rollbar.....roll bar adds 30-45 pounds...and im 165lbs that was with half a tank...
my car is a pig!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I dont think that the ITR 5 lug weighs much more at all than the GSR 4 lug.....

Damn Santos i think you put on a little weight or something

If the cars 4500 and all you have is that roll bar and the 5 lug then its probably the 5 lug. But i dont think it would weight THAT much more then a normal 4 lug set up.

free bump in the end.

yes i know the CTR/ITR 5 lug weight more i had one in each hand when i converted it and it was a big diff....but i didnt have a scale at the moment......
but the 4x114 ITR set up is equal in weight to a GSR correct????

i'm confused. your car's weight is 4500lbs now. it weighed 2240 before the roll bar (40-50lbs), and you're 165lbs.

2240 + 50 + 165 = 2455

where'd the extra 2,000 lbs come from?!

fastest honda

also, I meant to say in my earlier post that I don't think it'd make that much of a difference between your 5-lug and the ITR 4-lug you had before. brakes are the same size aren't they? or are the 5-lug bigger? (not claiming to know anything, but it seems to me the difference shouldn't be that big eitherway. I figure not over 50lbs difference)

The 5 lug has bigger brakes than the ITR 4 lug (same size rotors/calipers as a GSR) and of course the GSR/LS/SI rear disks as well.

correct! the hubs are beefier making them heavier but i would like to find stats on the weight diff!

now that i think about it......what are the major diff between a d GSR and a ITR that would add weight? other thenthe 5 lug,LCA, subframe..what else is there?

whats the gross weight of a ITR VS a GSR?
