Default H22 In Eg Hatchback, which cold air intake fits better?

I have a euro r h22 in an eg hatchback, and I was lookin at ordering a cai. I have heard both the itr intake and the prelude intake will work. I am not totally sure on how, or if you need to modify them to fit. I would assume they dont run down the stock hole in the wheel well. Any comments?

H22 AEM = 2.5"

ITR AEM = 3"

Both might fit, but which do you think will make more power?

according to AEM Prelude one is also 3". <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by AkEuro_R &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I have a euro r h22 in an eg hatchback, and I was lookin at ordering a cai. The AEM Prelude one will fit down the stock hole with some modification from what I am told. I have the ITR one on my EK Civic and it fits with no trimming what so ever. Like it was made for it (note: the ITR one doesnt use the hole rather it goes down next to the chassis rail).

Injen is 2.75" for H22

AEM will be making Hybrid intakes soon.

I have a 99 Si CAI. Fits perfect, goes right in the hole with no modification!

Too bad the H22 in the EG and EK chassis is not even on their list! Aparantly when I talked to them it wont be made anytime soon. They told me perhaps next year!

The problem with the Euro R throttle body is it is the same as the ITR, thats why I was thinking of going with the ITR CAI. I believe the prelude piping is bigger in diameter than the type R but I could be wrong.

The AEM hybrid intakes will be available soon (not next year). The 92-95 Civic with H22 has already been designed and is going through production. 96-00 Civic with H22 will follow shortly. All of the Hybrid intakes will be 3.00". Also, the normal 97-01 Prelude intake is 3.00", not 2.50".
