Default doing full motor buildup!! opinions on setup.

alright i though my motor blew, but it was only a couple of bent valves, but since the motor is already out and i already got the money to build it i'm going ahead w/ it.

here is what i'm doing: weisco/ross/je pistons (11.8:1), eagle rods, darton/aebs sleeves, bored out to 84mm and some ss valves. already have skunk stage II cams and skunk valvesprings and retainers, DTR header.
the car ran strong as hell when i put the header on. i was very impressed and was so upset the valves decided to give out on dyno day. i pulled 176whp before the DTR header and Hytech exhaust (which by the way is quiet as hell) and was hoping on some really good numbers.
now 84mm equates to how many liters? the DTR header is made for a 1.8 motor and i really don't want to wait another month or more if i have to get the 2.0 header.

but either way i'll be happy and i'm hoping on pulling over the 200whp mark. (crossing fingers)

What head will be going on this car? any head work done? With proper tuning you sould be in the 200whp range.

ur staying NA and there is no need for SS valves, thats just bling factor. NA cars do not run enough heat in the motor to warrant SS. id drop some ferrea valves in there with a good valve job and call it a day.

84mm=?? depends on what crank youre using.

ls crank 1.9xx liters roughly 2.0 liters

the head is the stock jdm itr head. no extra pp except for what honda did from the factory.

the crank is gonna be the stock itr crank. at least the guy didn't tell me anything about changing the cranks.

as far as the valves. i have to call the shop and see what kinda valves they are gonna use. he recommended ss though.
