Hey guys, i took my valve cover off, and am in the process of re-painting it.. my question is, how the hell do i take the bolts off! the have a thing on the bottom that stops them from being pulled out! i have a 93 civic ex coupe, if that matters at all, its ready to paint, just need to take em off! so any response fast will be very much appreciated!

pull a little harder it should come out if it is unscrewed all the way

its a d16z6... hmm, ok, i will go yank on them...its hitting the back of the valve cover, where the bolts come through.. i dont know how to descibe it.. the cover is off btw.. i just need the bolts to come out from the cover, ill go try again for the help guys

 

YES!!! i did it!! thanks alot guys!! I just didnt wanna force it, but, i got some pliers, grabbed the head, and pulled like mad! and they popped off! time to go paint!! thanks a ton for the speedy help guys!
