Default Went BACK to the track again...(d16y8 sol)

Practice practice practice and more seat time, I got down to a 16.11 from the 16.4X i ran last weekend. Heres the info on the slip:

r/t - .6526
60 ft - 2.4279
330 - n/a
1/8 ET - 10.3396
1/8 MPH - 67.32
1000 ET - n/a
1000 MPH - n/a
1/4 ET - 16.1158
1/4 MPH - 85.10

comparing that to last week's best:

r/t - .323
60 ft - 2.481
330 - 6.978
1/8 ET - 10.688
1/8 MPH - 66.49
1000 ET - 13.858
1/4 ET - 16.497
1/4 MPH - 85.77

So I guess I just need to keep practicing. If anyone has any tip2 from the numbers above, keep them coming.

D16Y8 Del Sol ('97 Si)

I/H/E, FPR, b&m short shifter
kyb struts, coilovers
25 psi in front tires

I think I could pull a 15.9 if I could get my 60 ft down. I had a run last night where I had a 2.37 60 ft, but then I missed 3rd and ran a 16.7 I think that could have been a 15.9 or 16.0 run.....

This is a little depressing since my best is a 15.5 with b16a3. That was pre-boost of course.

Run with 19-20 psi in your tires and lower your '60's.

stock alloy 14's with michelen tires

I'm feeling somewhat satisfied considering that honda says a stock del sol si will run 16.7...but like I said, if I could get a tenth of my 60ft and figure out whats best to do top end (stay in 3rd or shift to 4th) i think i could see a 15.9, not too bad for a d series with bolt ons, stock drivetrain, street tires, no weight reduction...

that's not bad at all. i remember someone else on these boards only running a 16.1 with a del sol VTEC (B16). just bring those 60' times down and you'll be in the 15s.
