Overheating problem i cant figure out.
My car just recently started overheating but it only goes about 3/4's of the way up the heat doesnt continually rise to red, I checked my fluid and its fine, I ran the car to see if the fan came on but it didnt, but it also didnt feel like the thermostat did either but there wierd thing is it didnt overheat while sitting. My car only overheats when i get to about 4th-5th gear and go about 60-80mph. But it put the heater on and it goes back to normal.
What temp should my fan have come on?

I agree bad thermostat. Your thermostat is probably stuck closed and not letting the coolant that has gone through you radiator to get back into your block.
i'm inclined to believe it's not your thermostat, only because if the thermostat was stuck closed, you'd be overheating at idle as well... but you're not. you said it's fine at idle.
i would pressure test the radiator cap first. at higher temps (higher rpms) if the cap was not holding pressure, the coolant will boil over much quicker than if it were pressurized. if it's boiling, it's not absorbing any more heat... resulting in a warmer than normal temperature.

When you travel at these speeds ususally your car turns off the fan and allows the aerodynamics of the bumper to allow air to flow thru your radiator and to cool down your car.. It seems like something is blocking the front or your fan might be turning on at this time which will cause a slow air flow and overheat..
now did you bleed the system ? do this first. and if your theromstat was broken 99% of the time they will be open so your car will take awhile to heat up. If its stuck then you will overheat all the time.
