Urea clutch grease alternatives? - Anyone with long-term experience?
Doing my clutch in the morning. I was going to go hi-temp wheel bearing or silicone race grease, since like an idiot, I forgot to order the correct Honda stuff with the rest of the parts.
Anyonehave some real long-term experience with an alternative?

I've pulled my tranny about 4 times now and I've never had a chance to try the Honda specific Urea grease,
The 1st time I used the Amsoil Series 2000 full synthetic grease and it worked great. The next time I pulled it out, there was still some grease somewhat stuck in place.
However, the second time the tranny went in, I used the same grease, and replaced the T/O bearing but right when I first drove it, the T/O bearing chattered but eventually got quieter. (somewhat bad bearing?)
I also managed to use castrol synthetic wheel bearing grease I think it is and that seemed to work fine too.
The last time, I just said the FUKK with replacing the bearing again and just wiped it clean, relubed it with a combo of catrol/amsoil and it seemed to be OK.
At this point I'm starting to think Vaseline would probably do the job, that or Astroglide.
