FS, black/black 91 Integra GS, 5 speed, B16A1 swap, lots of other stuff, $3750.00, in Lexington, Ken
My wife has put here foot down! We are buying a house this summer and no matter how big the garage is, there will be no room for the husband's project car.
A little about the car. The title is currently clean, but I have come to find out the miles are unknown, so I dont know if this would keep the title clean? I had to replace the speedo cable and then put in a JDM cluster, so the true miles is anyones guess. Mechanically the car is in great shape, as my wife says, "you spent $5000 on it, it should run great." I will list the mods below, but I will mention the immediate issues the car has as best I know; the interior door clips are worn and the cables to the inside door latches are not connected (that was going to be the next project), the car does need paint, no cancer though, in fact the only rust is some surface rust and cracked paint on the roof behind the sun roof, the rear hatch struts are tired, no rear speakers or antenea, front bumper is in black primer and has no lip, I have removed the power steering and the inner fender liners need replaced. I think the car needs about $2000-2500 worth of paint, body work and misc odds and ends to be in really really good shape at this point. As it sits now, its a good driver and is fun going point a to b.
The good news! Power windows work, indash Pioneer am/fm/cd, power sunroof works and has no leaks, a/c blows cold, this GS came with the optional leather interior, which has no rips or tears in the front or back. Aside from the door panels the interior is in fairly good shape.
Everyones favorite part!!!!! The mods!!!
Full swap B16A1, has the engine, tranny and ECU, and it pulls like a champ
(with new timing belt, water pump, fuel filter)
JDM gauge cluster
ITR shift bag
Skunk2 ITR shift ****
AEM cold air intake
new KYB shocks, the cheap ones
new Tein H-tech springs
sticker new Kuhmo Ecsta 712 tires
96 GSR rims
Random Technology hi flow cat
HKS 2.5" stainless exhaust
new brake pads on all four corners
B&M short shift with the polyurethane bushing
And misc other bolts, nuts, screws and doo dads.
Please feel free to IM me or drop an email, giff74@yahoo.com with any questions. I dont have anyone currently hosting pics, but if you are seriously interested in the car I dont mind emailing them to you.
I know its always hard to price out older cars, I paid $2000 for the car a year ago, with the swap other parts and labor I have well over another $5000 into the car (all with one shop here in town that can verify any of the work). Now I am not saying the car would be worth $7000 to someone else, I know its not. The whole thing has been a labor of love, more my love, and money, than my wifes. However, I want to recoup some of what I have spent, thats why I have priced it just over half of what I have in it. I may go the OBO route, but not for an offer out of left field. I am ok with helping out on shipping, just not paying for it, and as much I as I would like to entertain offers on trades, I dont think that would fly with the wife.
Please fire away with any questions, concerns or comments.
Thanks for your time!

good luck for 5g's but with unknown miles, obviously the title won't be clear. cuz clear title means everything needs to be checked out clean

That's why I am trying to be upfront about it and I am not trying to get $5K out of it.
