why wont crank sprocket go back
well i did my timing belt change in like 30 minutes but after i replaced the crank oil seal.... i put the hinge facing other way (like supposed to) but when i went to put on the crank sprocket it wont only go one like enough to not allow u to put on the crank pulley...
this thing wont go any farther back.. anyone got any advice as to how to put it back farther ? i would use a hammer but i dont wannt destroy it.
any help is apreciated, and no, its not in backwards... the key is going into the oppening for it, like head first, not the other way around.
Be sure you seated the seal all the way back, then grab a rubber mallet and tap it on, dont whack just tap. If it still wont go then I have no clue.
