Default extreme compact??

I am assuming nobody showed up for this class in VA. For some wierd reason I really look forward to seeing this class. I am wondering how fast import rails are going to be. I am hoping somewhere in the high 5's low 6's? Think thats to far fetched???

Your not alone we(NDRA) have been approached by OE manufacturers, Fortune 500 companies and the racers. Everyone has their own reason for being interested but they range from the racers looking for another platform to entice sponsors, too sponsors looking at the sides of these 200+ inch wheelbase dragsters for billboard space, think NHRA Top Fueler. Engine builders and product suppliers like BCE, team owners such as Scott Revel and a racers list that includes Nelson Hoyos, Marty Ladwig, Ali Afshar and a couple other who wanted to remain undisclosed are either seriosly looking for chassises or they have already purchased them for their existing engine programs. I think it will be a few more racers before we actually see one make a pass and that is what the sponsors are look at. Racers will almost always tell you they had to almost go broke before anyone would help them with their project. This is a perfect platfrom for OE manufacturers to race their engines heads up for bragging rights with an equal chassis and drivetrain in a reliable and proven format. I have spoken with OE reps from Honda, Subaru, Nissan, Scion, Mits, Hyundai, honestly only Toyota has yet to approach us. The NDRA is committed to the building of this class and we realize we didn't invent the idea of a super- light purpose built chassis with stupid fast hp to power it, but the wonderful thing about this class is the engines. If you follow NHRA you know every Top Fueler runs a V-8 based on the old Dodge Hemi. Here we have the opportunity to one day implement rules that will maintain what is unique about each manufacturers products. That's looking way to far down the road for this thread but watch what happens once the fans witness mid-5 second ETs. History will repeat itself and the other sanctioning bodies will attempt to jump on board and take a bite.

Thanks cassandra!
Smokin.. that car has been around for a while now.. but for one reason or another Bob has never let it see track time. I do look forward to one day seeing it blaze down the 1320.. but until then I want to see what's actually running now.

Yea I know Norwood has had this car along time.I think he's got to many projects goin on right now to screw with it.I think his big concern right now is to finish Rados car.Bob, Tony or Fisch can probably give you a better answer, I'm just guessin.
