I did both the smartest and dumbest thing I have ever done and picked up a Kaiser Silver/Black 2000 NSX-T w/ 36k miles this week. All I can say is
. The payments are going to hurt, but man this is worth it everytime I sit in the car. I can't stop playing w/ it, it makes the suffering through 3 years of law school worth every second of misery. Pics will be on the way soon, just wanted to say I'm now in the exclusive club. So far it's everything I thought it would be, and more.

Thanks. I guess the title of this thread is false advertising, though. USAA actually owns the car more than I do, lol. Looking forward to at least a few years of sheer pleasure behind the wheel before having to grow up

I highly recommend joining the NSXCA and making yourself known to local NSX owners and NSXCA members. And some pics of your g-ride would be nice too!

Congratulations! It's nice and clean! That silver color is amazing... i contemplate buying an NSX everyday despite the payments that i will have to make, but i don't think i'm ready for that commitment yet and the insurance quotes i'm getting has been pushing me more and more away from owning one.
Good luck with it and i hope it will be worth all the agony that comes with owning such a beautiful toy!
Laters!

Don't frett, I don't know many people wealthy enough or stupid enough not to finance at least a portion of their respective cars.
It's a looker too. I was always partial to Silver/Black.

Yes, there are a lot of events in your area, including the River Run later this month. And your timing is perfect; NSXPO will be in your part of the country this year, at the Glen! Hold the dates, October 8-12.
You can find info on joining the NSXCA at http://www.nsxca.org

Are you planning any mods for it or are you leaving it stock for the forseeable future?</TD></TR></TABLE>
Whoa, the "big boy" thing makes me feel like you have the wrong idea. I mean send me a check for the supercharger and the rims, haha. On a serious note, I don't have the $ to play around w/ it now. I think exhaust would be great, but for a while it will be stock. I definetly have no complaints about the stock product. I seriously am in love w/ this thing. I remember 1st seeing an NSX back in 1991, and for years it has been my favorite car. I still am trying to deal w/ the fact that I own one. Payments start on June 1, I think that will probably be when I realize that yes, I truly own one.

Sorry, believe it or not this was my 2nd choice. I love black/black. Now that I have it though, and having looked at a few black ones, I think the silver wears much better. Thanks though for what I guess I should take as a compliment of sorts.

Black would be my first choice too. It was a compliment, my S2000 is the same color. At this point I'd rather have a NSX (even older one, 93-94) than my S2000.

I like the s2000, but am just too big for it (6'4"). If you really want an NSX you should be able to get rid of the s2000 fairly easily and step into one. I can say this: you won't regret it.

Yeah I really like the comforts of a NSX vs. a S2000. I might very well do it after I pay it off. The S is still pretty fun though.

Thanks. I went to the Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C. I'm moving to Philadelphia in August to start a new job, which, without going into detail, will be putting all that education to good use. Nothing personal, I just don't publicize where I work on the internet.
