I have a 97 Prelude with a stock honda alarm.
I bought an 12V Varad Led Blue Light.

I cut the wires for the LED light and installed the varad LED light.

Now my alarm does nothing. Nor do my locks unlock/lock.

I went to honda service and the guy told me that i fried the brain because the stock honda led is 1.5V and the varad is 12V. He tried to reprog my transmittor but nothing. He unplugged the brain and replugged it then reprog my transmittor ....but still nothing. He also told me the alarm is the same as in the 98-02 accord and the same as in 97-01 prelude.

I went to an alarm shop, they said my brain still work because when you unplug then replug the brain you hear the power locks click.

Who is right and who is wrong?

Is there a alarm fuse?

What should i do? Any suggestions?

Anyone have a varad led light in the stock alarm? connected to the battery or both batteries to the alarm?
