BBK throttle body and TYPE R manifold
hey sup guys!!
im considering buying the BBK throttle body and match porting my TYPE R manifold to 70"..
im curious if any1 hav any information about this set-up...GOOD
OR BAD

i heard from sum1 that u lose torque but others say u gain power...its kinda unclear too me!!!
any feedback, comment, suggestion, opinion or recommendation are welcome!!!

my car is an EG6 full interior with the following specs:
B20/vtec with jdm ITR HEAD and the jdm high compression b20 (9.1/1 i believe)
ITR manifold
CAI
jdm type r headers
2.50 exhaust pipe wid no name aftermarket exhaust
b16 tranny
ACT stage 3 clutch
CUSCO lsd
fidanza (7.5 lbs) flywheel
AEM fuel rail and regulator
short throw shifter
chip ECU
14" light weight wheels wid sum FALKEN AZENIS
generic suspension
no power steering or A/C
all other parts not mention are stock..

set up sounds a little big for stock itr cams. i'd say invest the money in a good set of cams...skunk2 stage 1 or 2 would be nice. the only issue w/ that may be compression. info on your compression would help, but i'd say skip the monster tb and im port matching til you throw in some cams...
i agree with anarchyfox, 70mm is pretty big for such a mild setup, id get some bigger cams or actually bump up the compression.so id do something with the block.if you dont have the money to built the block, there has been some guys on here that have bumped up their compression pretty high by simply milling the head, but i dont really know how much you could mill or anything so id look into it first
