super streetbike had a good write up on doing endos. Get going around 30-40mph then grab about 80% of the front brake. As you feel it coming up gradually release the brake. If you wanna roll them out there is a balance point where you hardly have to be using any brake at all. But since your just learning you probably wont be at balance point for a while.

When i'm doing them i kinda put my weight towards the front as i grab the brake...kinda hard to explain. I can only roll them like 5-10ft.

jus mash the front brake until the bike stops, if you loop it then use less brake . . . haha naa grab the front brake around 40 like boostedsi said and gradually release as the bike starts to come up . . . trying them slower than that and your more likely to jus drop your bike so stay at around 30-40 . . .

what kind of front tire are you running. Also make sure that its warmed up. I used to have lots of problems with my metzeler mez4 hooking up. After i got a sportec m1 on front no more problems. Also what kind of bike do you have?

Yep, "warm it up chris!" . . . make sure of two things:

1. Always warm up your tire
2. Always pre-load your suspension by slowly grabbing the front brake first
3. If you are locking up the tire, go a little faster and squeeze a little slower
4. Keep your front tire psi at around 25lbs

I'm rollin about 60ft right now doin those things . . .

yea, 60ft is damn good. I suck *** at endos but then again i dont really practice them. Ever since i saw one of my friends almost lose it going around 70mph and endoing i can never get myself to go that fast and try it.

I always use D208 Gp's on the front, they warm up quick and are really sticky when they are hot . . . since I started using those, I have yet to lock up my front tire . . . though part of locking up your front tire is incorrect method which I have slowly worked through lol

I do mine at about 60 mph . . . once you hit the balance point you can ride 'em out forever, in fact the guy that won the longest stoppie competition at stunt wars two months ago does all his endo's at 60, and won the comp with a 938ft endo . . . I heard that about your friend tho, I tanked slapped about a month back and landed right on my head . . . thank god for helmets, I got back up and wheelied away lol

I've only tried endoing like 3 times, but the last time is the only time I think I've grabbed enough brake...my front tire just squelled and it didn't feel like the back was anywhere near raising. Guess I'll try to drop some pressure and warm the tires up a little more??!!?!

if the tires are squeling their slipping, not gripping, so yeh i'd say defently warm them up more, what PSI are you running in the front?

the guy with the longest record at like 900 something feet used a stock gsxr 750. i thought they usually went faster than 60mph...thats really impressive. I can never ever come close to balance point. Feels like i'm gonna go over and that would really suck on an endo. I'd much rather loop a wheelie than loop a stoppie. Thats y i dont really do endos.
