im stuck at a crossroads, i need help with choosing my new motor (kinda long)
okay well im lost as to what kind of motor to choose;
obviously im staying all-motor
i basically have 2 choices; either do LS/VTEC or H22

here is the setup i was gonna do for the LS/VTEC:
BLOCK
b18a1 block
RS Sleeves (84mm)
Pistons (possibly JE or ARIAS, shelf, dont know what compression to get)
Rods (dont know what kind yet, shelf)
CTR Pulley
New Bearings
Micropolish crank
New VTEC Oil Pump
NEW Water pump
HEAD
GSR Head
Portflow Port Polish
Toda Springs
Skunk2 High Compression Valves
Skunk2 Retainers
Skunk2 GSR Manifold/Hondata mani gasket
Injectors
jun stage 3 cams

H22 Setup:
The H22 setup is just gonna be stock block for now, im just gonna get headwork done:
Portflow Port Polish
Skunk2 Stage 2 Cams
Skunk2 Valves
Skunk2 Springs
Skunk2 Retainers
so there you go, these are my 2 possible choices.
i already have a Geezer head and LS block. and yes, i know im missing stuff here and there for both setups, but this is a basic description of the setups i plan to run when i choose the motor.
as for the h22, i dont have it yet, but if i decide to get it, i can get one easily and just sell off the B block and head.
as soon as i make my decision, the building will commence.
the reason why im stuck is b/c i wanna pick the one that has the best potential for power. i know ppl have good experiences with both and i wanna know some information on good builds and suggestions.
Also, RELIABILITY is an issue, b/c im basically gonna invest alot of money into this (around $5k-ish) so i dont want my motor to explode, cause if this thing goes, there goes my whole racing career
im planning on converting my red hatch into a semi-race car and start competing in drag racing events.
its also going to be driven on the streets, but not as much as before.
if im missing any kind of info, just post here and ill be more than glad to provide info.
also, im not making this post a B vs H thread just need some help/suggestions with what im gonna do, the cash is just rotting here lol
