Do I need the T.P.S (throttle postion sensor)

I have a 90 accord and I am putting a jdm h22a in it when i got it the throttle position sensor way broke off it do I need it or will my motor be fine without it??????????

im pretty sure your idle will be pretty whack without it. just buy a new one from hondaautomotiveparts.com

You will need it, it may be used by the ECM for injection (air/gas mix)

basically without it..ur car could think ur flooring it when really its suppose to be idling....hence the throttle POSITION sensor name....

Or....you could just use the one from your f22. Take a dremel and grind a screwdriver slot in to the 2 rivets that hold it on. Remove with a screwdriver and put it on the h22. I had to do it with mine, but I just got one from an old Civic hatch motor. You will have to set once you get everyting hooked back up though. I can't remember the voltages rigth no though. 0.5 shut throttle and 4.5 WOT I think....
