it's called an EK hatchback in japan, commonly reffered to an EK in the states as well. also got the face lift in 99 in the states. with 75/90 hp, it would be a DX or a VX, but that is all the hatchbacks we got anyways!

All exterior things you would buy would be for a 99-00 Civic Hatchback the model wouldn't really matter. And mostly all engine components from those years would be interchangeable as well. So it wouldn't matter what model you said.

VTi, Ri, EL, SiRII, SiR, are the models from Japan from 96-00. EK is a general chassis designation for those models. There is no 96+ VX, only the CX and DX as hatchs. Being that the original poster is asking about the 75/90 Hp models, that would be either or. From Japan it would be the Ri, or EL (even though it is the 102ps).

But yea, most 96-00 parts are good for you.

Chances are that will bolt to your motor, since hte 99-00 Si has a B16A2 instead of a D series that's why they excluded it. But since the o2 sensor is only in one runner, instead of before hte collector where it belongs, I wouldn't waste the money on a "DC style" header.

Why even waste the time typing such an asinine comment like that? It doesn't even make sense.

we have those models over here in Iceland they are simply called 1.4i for the 75hp version and 1.4is the 90hp version.
they have a d14a2 engine.

in germany these models are also called 1,4i and 1,4is but I was searching for model descriptions like dx and so on (this could be important for e.g. engine parts, like headers, may be). as i posted, the header found at ebay.com excludes the civic SI and I don`t want to buy something which doesn`t fit for my engine

in the US, we only have two models of those generation hatchbacks...DX and CX...us americans always get the cheap, low-model left overs

they are excluding the american SI which is our VTI and that car has a b series engine the 1.4IS car has a d14 engine and i do think that all d-series parts are interchangeable, meaning that it doesn´t matter if it says it´s for a d15 or a d16 then it will fit the d14.
