Default Brake lights

I was checking my fuses to see if I had any that were blown. All was well, but there were some that didn't need to be there so I took them out. Now I don't have any brake lights. They were working before I removed the fuses that didn't belong. I tried replacing them and putting them were they were before when the brake lights worked, but that didn't work. I checked the bulbs and they're both good. I checked the brake sensor on the brake pedal. That works, but I don't know how to check and see if there's a current going through it (that's what the haynes manual said to check). In the book it says that they go bad. Also when I engage the brake the seat belt warning starts to beep, until I let off the brake. Can anyone help me with these two problems of mine.
