Default .....has anyone retrofitted a dc2 axleback onto their ef?

I am trying to figure out how to get a hytech twinloop axleback for dc2 onto my 91 si.

I have an idea of what I'd like to do: custom mandrel bent piping straight back from the header, with a total of two bends; one under the gas tank, and one angled toward the left rear of the car (connecting to the flange at the axleback at this point).

This is somewhat difficult to describe/ figure out, because the dc2 exhausts exit to the right rear of the bumper - whereas the ef exhaust exit locations are the left rear.....

What have you guys done?

Any pics?

I bought an ITR muffler to try and make work on my hatch, but once I got it and looked at it and the car there was no way, the muffler was just way too big. I dunno if yours is going to be smaller, but I think its going to be a lot of work to make fit properly.

You are absolutely correct. I just ended up going with a side exit behind the passenger's door... there was no way I could get the twinloop under the rear of the EF... it would be scrubbing on flat ground!

Maybe I could run it the way the stock EF routes, but the path would be so convoluted.....

5Zigen makes an EF kit... it exits on the Passenger side. The bends go something like this:

5Zigen Axleback

Eh... nevermind. The format won't allow me to show, but basically the 5Zigen is a very direct route. Look for pics of it.
