get a cat back exhaust system : ) (not just the muffler, this thing goes farther back) for around 500-700 bucks modacar.com and look for exhaust systems

its supposed to let exhaust out better and that = 5 hp or so

umm some people do air intake (150-250) and headers (350-450) these together maybe will add 10 hp but..... if you are going to boost your car with turbo, you will have no use for the header and the intake

with the exhaust you can keep it for later when you boost but be careful and plan ahead and research turbo if you are interested or else u will be wasting money

umm get wheels 17 inch volks haha , side skirts and front and rear lips (my front lip cost about 60 bucks it makes the front look better and attaches to the front bumper )

lower your car with lowering springs and shocks , my car is lowered with eibach prokits (just springs for like 225) but u need to get an alignment and camber kit depending on some things, make sure u research these before you do it , lowering it wrong = tire wear = dangerous driving conditions

ummm black out your headlights? i am more of an exterior looks + performance guy haha not really for sound systems and interior ;p

For what it's worth, if I saw the Honda on fire on the side of the rode it would turn my head.

Other than this, or a custom paint job, johneyou had some great ideas. Personally I would put the money into something more practical than flash, like a nice audio system.
